Tuesday 3/22

Good day -
appointment at 915 all the way down near Galt at McConnell Estates Winery - signed them up with EXS
didn't get back to office to get paperwork turned in until 1215..
then off to Roseville at invitation of Steve Jacobs, a RE buddy of mine, to meet his networking group...shook some hands, exchanged some cards, etc
Back to office by 3:00 - made some new phone calls and follow ups - and email follow ups
then dealt with Sac Beekeeping on phone with tech support for almost 1.5 hours but ended up getting them redownloaded and reprogrammed. You got to stcik with it when your clients are senior citizens...seriously.
Not feeling all that great today, a little achy and exhausted.
Hassman, out.

Monday 3/20

I don't know what happened to Friday's post...and over the weekend I didn't even think about it because most of what I did didn't seem so much like work as cleaning my crap up.
I think I absolutely deleted it when I was updating it Friday night after services...so be it -
I worked all day like a good boy and made a lot of calls and set a couple of appointments for this week.
Today was a productive day for sure, man (and woman).
I started out the day making some calls to existing clients and old EMG clients under the guise of making sure that they got their terminals updated for "spring ahead"...I made about 18 calls before I set an appointment with US Cycle and Tire for later today - 2 PM.
Then I got paperwork together for that appointment - got a couple of old EMG clients recent statements together using my super spy techniques to picth them on switching.
Appt with US Cycle from 2-330 - signed him up with EXS.
Drove to Folsom to visit 3 different existing clients -1 out of 3 there..
Then appt with DR Cigars - went okay - 50% shot - Wednesday followup call with Lindsey
Then home - dinner - paperwork on deal turned in.

Thursday 3/17

left home at 6:40 to attend Capital Connection mastermind-networking meeting at clients' location, Trailmix in Old Sac. During the meeting I received warm lead for new business opening early May. Placed call and left message to lead following.
Then I was off to my men's entrepreneur's bootcamp. While there had opportunity to go further in depth about exactly what I do and Paul, one of the members who is a salon owner, said he will get me in front of some of his fellow salon owners and to follow up with him Monday in that regard and nail down some specific names/places.
Brief meeting with Ken at Old Soul then off to do about 1 hr of calls to former EMG clients. Then to Jewish Federation to install their virtual terminal from 1-2. Went smoothly.
Then meeting from 215-315 with Ryan of Upward Trend, marketing management company about strategic alliance with them . They have over 55 monthly paying clients and Ryan agreed that he will talk to partner Terry about having conversations with specific clients of theirs to get me appts.
Then off to Antelope for Miriam's swim meet where in between races I made calls to existing clients to ask for referrals. That lead to one more appt and one more business to follow up with to set appt.
Then dinner, then sent sendoutcards to some followups and then this and bed.

Wednesday 3/16

Today started out with an early morning emergency from Old Soul and then one from Tower pipes and cigars. I allowed both to railroad my morning because of the power both have as merchants worth their weight in gold to me. I was busy from 8:30-noon taking care of their issues. Not ideal start to the day but for now a necessary evil and greatly appreciated by the clients.
Then from noon until 3 I made outgoing calls to over 25 former emg clients and existing networking contacts. That lead to 2 more appointments. One on Friday and one next week.
Had an appointment that upon qualifying call realized that we were not a good fit for services match. Then when making a second appt qualifying call for appt Friday determined that the prospect was not ready for me yet.
from 3 until 6 I did first-time prospecting emailing and follow up emails to people I had already met.
Then dinner then Yachad.

Tuesday 3/15

Today I was still exhausted like yesterday but a much more productive day overall.
Dealt with emails and such stuff the first hour of the day.
Then I made a dozen calls to former EMG clients - reached a couple - one I am emailing, one switched already despite having spoken to them when I first switched over - said that it was tough to separate me from EMG.
Left messages for 9. Spoke with one who asked me to email her some info.
Then spoke with future client I am meeting later this week. Gave her some information I needed her to gather. Then spoke with 4th processor, UBC,  and got paperwork in order to get agreements for the above-mentioned client.
Then appt with a salon owner who is shopping processors.
Then back to the office and dealt with some current merchant issues.
Read industry newsletter article about current security issue in industry and then made another 18 prospecting calls (some to current merchants for referrals).
Prepared 2 bids - one for salon and one for appt later this week.
picked up Miriam.
dinner
researched ideal businesses to call tomorrow for no credit check financing product - furniture, audio-stereo, wheels shops, bedding stores.
